Auto Fight Timer

I usually use the autofight for low level quests to utilise my energy.
But after the update the fight doesn't start automatically and I need to click fight everytime which is annoying, is this intended?

What device are you using? I don't have any issues on iOS.

Someone said it only happens with 1* champs...
