How is Ark survival? Good story line? grindy?

I enjoy the storyline a lot. (Although you can just view the Reddit post someone made who put all the explorer notes in chronological order) but the game is extremely grindy. It is intended to take 120+ hours to beat each map, but if you have no idea what you're doing, then expect to take a lot longer than that. Mods and changing your rates can remove a lot of grind, but the game is very unforgiving. That's probably why I enjoy it so much tbh.

Since we still have snow, touch grass didn't work for me without shoveling...
So I sent the wife out with a shovel to dig a hole to the grass and the grass is frozen.
And so am I after she threw all the snow she dug at me. 😅

For me since I'm done necropolis, and just waiting for 8.4 at this point and already have an overflow with a bunch of revives (I bought all 5 500 unit deals when they were available) I have been chipping away at EQ, a bit of arena and that's about it.

Thought about jumping in to do a carinas challenge but just nit feeling it right now so arena and EQ is where it's at.

Need gold badly.
