Here's the standard rotation
- once you have a special ready, make sure your opponent does NOT have their special attack(bait out the special if needed)
- to maximize trauma buildup dash back and create a safe distance between you and the defender
- start charging heavy and let your opponent dash into you
- just before they hit you lauch the special

Simple enough right?
Dash back -> charge heavy -> trigger special when opponent dashes towards you

The problem is AI likes to just hold block, stand still or walk forwarding a little bit and dash back
The KEY is to be PATIENT because it can take a very long time sometimes
The AI starts acting erratic, it makes people nervous sometimes they launch the special when the opponent is not dashing and they get blocked.

And you have to keep in mind, sometimes they AI MIGHT NOT EVEN GIVE YOU A CHANCE TO THROW IT. They just constantly stand there till your heavy just auto releases. In that scenario instead of being frustrated, focus on not getting hit in the face

Just don't do this heavy charge nonsense in BG or War, in BG it's waste of time because you want to sp1 spam or sp2 once if you want heals.

In war, if AI decides to be passive, it WILL hold block longer than you can charge heavy, then immediately after you throw heavy AI will charge in for 5 hits.

In shorter match-ups like battle grounds,
- if your scorpion is high ranked(r4/5/ ascended)
- and if you're not against a tanky defender like Sasquatch
Just don't bother with this, build some stacks with quick medium-medium combos, parry, charge heavy and IMMEDIATELY cancel heavy into special it will save you a lot of time
