Is it just me, or does Iron Heart need a damage tune-up?

I love using Iron Heart. She has great immunities, utility, is a good Bishop counter, and has entertaining animations. However.....
I think she badly needs a damage tune-up. I have her as a r5 6*, but haven't been impressed by her damage output. It seems low compared to other techs, and new champs.

I think she just needs longer duration of her debuffs and/or a longer pause

One thing I've noticed over the years is usually utility champs lack damage, and damage dealers lack utility.

There's exceptions to the rule, but not many major damage dealers have a ton of utility and vice versa.

I have her r4 at high sig and the sp2 damage after the rotation is extremely mid,utility wise she's awesome tho I'll give you that

Yes--badly!

I voted before I pulled the 7*, just testing her out and her damage is fine given how much utility she has. The DoT is very strong and no one is immune to both rupture and incinerate. Just build up to just under 2 bars of power spam sp1 to build up debuffs and then melt them with a massive sp2. With 40 debuff the sp2 was hitting for over 200k. Yeah she’s not fast but she’s got a ton of utility to make up for it.

My biggest complaint is the lack of heavy attack range, it makes it very hard to weave in a heavy to get the suppression up.

I agree with the longer pause thing, but she’s great. She has nice damage (nothing busted) and amazing utility

Got her as a 7* today she is decent but could use a damage tune up. Scorp 6* sp2 can do more damage

Not exactly but I would like the duration of her DOT to be longer. Other than that she seems good. Her DOT should also be paused during specials

Sentinel relic helps duration, I cleared Winter Soldier in 58 secs w my r5 so I can't complain. I love this champion.

Nah she is good, not every champ has to be a herc. She packs god tier util and pretty decent damage. I mean just compare her to bullseye that also has a metric sh*t ton of utility but very very very average damage. As the game goes on and you progress u start to understand that champs like iron heart are very useful in alot of different scenarios and because you are backed up by a strong roster you don't mind her not having her damage levels but will user her when u need her util. This being said I also enjoy her play styler and her specials are cool 👍👍

Interesting. How long did it take to get her debuffs up to 40? How many times did you have to spam sp 1?

Love her specials! I've been using her more and do like her very much. She's even been getting some bans in BGs lol. It does seem.like she needs a damage tune-up, but maybe I was using her wrong. Will consider some advice given. 👍

She needs a very high tune up probably other way to refresh her debuff instead of pausing them I got her from featured but never ranked her up
But I have a question would you rank her up if you have other OP tech Champs like fam shocker ghost nimrod idoom shuri viv vision hulkbuster starky etc. if you have these Champs I don't think we need another tech to add in the roster unless you really like her because I will never rank her up unless she gets a major tune up

Thanks, she’s great. Would have been R3 if I had pulled a tech gem. It doesn’t take long, got to 40 in about 1 minute and threw about 4 sp1. It will vary depending on the defender AI and the nodes. But most of the time by the time I’m ready for the big sp2 they have already ticked down by the DoT.
