Is there about to be some unit spending event?

I keep seeing people ask about spring cleaning event coming so if it does, when is it coming?!?

I'm REALLY tempted to buy 2 of those catalyst deals for 1250 units each cause my recent Juggy pull needs to go to r2 asap for bg's tomorrow but if I buy those, it leaves me a measly 600 or so units rather than the 3k+ I currently have.

I'm not a huge arena guy so recouping those 2500 units takes time.

But at the same time, bg's also starts tomorrow so I can always accumulate the t6cc I need with bg's tokens, so not sure spending 2500 units today would be the best move.

Help!!!

    Ahh, gotcha. I think I may spend the units to r2 juggs then, I don't need them for much else outside of some energy refills maybe for 8.4, and the odd revive if I somehow run out, which isn't that likely depending on how bad the big boss is.

    Especially not on those catalyst deals, what in god's name, open some daily crystals or get from BG, glory shop.

    I wouldn't value jugs worth 2500 units to R2 but to each their own. Id definitely save&save up for 4th of july. Especially yea know this year they'll be 1-2&2-3 gems

    As a Paragon (to be Valiant only as soon as I explore 8.4), I decided to actually spend the 2,500 units and buy the deal 2 times. It brings me very close to another 2 6R5s, which are still very valuable to me.

    I have saved another 1,000 units and plenty of items for 8.4 exploration, so I guesstimate I'm good to go. We will see. Arena is always there.

    I highly doubt I'm gonna regret a r2 juggs, lol

    2500 units is easy enough to get back, and I don't save a bunch of units for the big events like july 4th etc.. never have.

    I would rather make my life easy now than wait 3 months for some big deals.

    Remember, the more I win in bg's now the more rewards I get now, instead of waiting 3 months and spending extra time now with a slightly lower win percentage.

    It could have been any banger champ, it was just a matter of whether I wanted to spend the 2500 units or not which in the end I decided was well worth the time it will save me in bg's for the next 3 months instead of waiting until July 4th.

    I've never been one to save for those big events.

    I hear that! I weighed the pros and cons and figured since my main focus is bg's at this point, the amount of time I spend having to jump up and down will be less if I focus on my deck now, rather than waiting 3 months for July deals.

    2500 units was well worth buying the deals so I could take juggs to r2, then spending glory and whatever else to end up taking my maestro to r2 at the same time.

    Honestly if I had another 2500 units I would have bought all 4 of them just to booster my deck that much more.

    As someone mentioned earlier, Spring Cleaning is usually tied to a different currency, the majority of which you’ll need to acquire through Odin bundles. This year, the web store might have an extra spicy offer for Valiant players (like the $50 GBC that included a special 7* champ crystal) in addition to regular bundles, but it will still cost money.

    July 4th on the other hand will have plenty of unit tiered offers (usually with the solo objective that keeps going up the more units you spend), but take it from my experience purchasing these most of the time….2500 units is probably going to get you barely anything. The juicy offers will require at least 18k-36k+ units spent in total.

    If you’re dead set on that Juggs rank up, might as well take advantage of the catalyst offer going on now and enjoy your 3 months of a r2 Juggs, and then recuperate units over the next 3 months.

    Don’t buy the catalyst deals! 8.4 comes out tomorrow, just finish that and you’ll have a 1-2 generic gem.

    The *best* deals usually top out in the 18k-36k range, but there are often deals in the 1k-5k range that, while not as good (obviously), can still be better than the average value you can get for those units at other times.

    These were the Cav/TB offers for July 4 in 2023:



    The way it worked was you had to buy at least one bundle from each tier to unlock the next higher one. So buying one of the first tier would set you back 750 units, but to buy one of the 3k unit deals at tier 2 required buying at least one of the lower tier one deals first. So you'd need at least 3750 units to reach those deals.

    Still, the value of the lower tiers is not bad, and will presumably be higher this year. 750 units for, say, tier 1 bundle C would actually still be a decent deal today for Cavalier and TB players.

    Usually kabam puts out these deals meant to drain your units before a sale... That way you will be more likely to spend $

    Too late, I have a shiny new r2 juggs, lol

    But I also have no shortage of other champs I would gladly take up to r2 so I'm not too worried about it. I will use juggs more than enough to warrant what it cost me in units. 😁
