Offesnively and defensively i think shes good unduped could be wrong but i think she still gets sandstorms unduped

Dust is an awesome offensive champ. I'm not convinced on her on defense. I think once she's in the 6* featured she will blow up like silk.

I'm using her on offense and super unimpressed. She takes so long to build up fully and even after 2 sp2s she's barely doing more than dani can do in half the time whilst also constantly countering unstoppable AND evade

She is annoying defender even unduped. Her counters are very specific. But surprisingly a lot of meta attackers counter her. Sunspot is a great Nuke, bishop and abs man works as well.

You don’t have to build her up fully and can trigger sandstorm anytime and she still hits nicely. Triple immunities, a very useful glance + wp disable, and she’s an actual defensive threat. She doesn’t hit the hardest (other than in purify situations) but she has more than enough utility and other usage imo

Build whatever you can until you get to sp3. 30 is more than enough for almost any non boss champ in war. Any champ in bg. Sp2 is not her damage dealer. Sp1 is. Go heavy. Sp2 immediately when you can, they her passively stunned, quick combo to sp1 killshot. Against really big health pools in war, 600 plus I'll use mutant power back. You stun lock them as long as you want and before sandstorm ends hit the sp1 for even more massive damage.

I'm talking about building up her power efficiencies because that's like, the entire point of her loop.

Her utility is fine, but she has less damage and less utility than sandman overall. Her utility can't be accessed until you're ready to actually start doing damage

Lmao she hits way harder than sandman. Way more practical and she cooks fights pretty well. Not even sure where this impression came from, go watch Vega’s videos on her

Yeah but with that loop I'm not getting access to any of her utility beyond immunities, so why would I use her instead of someone like dani or onslaught. I've tried using her with different levels of sand built up and I've been consistently unimpressed by the damage across the board and would rather use a character that has like, actual utility. The glancing and immunities are nice but I genuinely see very few instances where she would be as viable of an attacker as other defensive champs

He doesn't even use her damage special. He uses her like if you were to only use sp1 with cgr and complain his damage is mid.

Also shes probs the best option for tactic node as shes bleed and shock immune who could deal with one eye opener

Yup + her utility is already there at its base. I’ve been doing some testing with her and that glance on block is fantastic. Tried her against very high attack champs and she barely lost any health. Combine that with all the other stuff she has + pretty nice damage, and she’s a pretty well rounded champ. I guess we’ll see if she’s used more going forward cause of the Titan and the next 6* featured

I used her against a r5 ascended Jessica jones in the last war of the season on hazard shift. I'd never used her ability that ignores unstoppable but since we were already locked in p2 I thought I'd test it out for the first time in a live fire drill. Worked perfectly. I really think she's going to be very popular once she's in the 6* featured

I think so too. I was just watching Fintech’s war videos and I almost forgot that she can completely counter champs like onslaught cause she’ll never get a daunted on her. The block glance being guaranteed + countering a ton of stuff is great utility (also prevents Photon’s untouchable, Hulkling’s pierce, etc.). Great for bullseye as well

Awesome, I will have to test her out against various nodes then. I've always thought that Glance wasn't just an annoying defensive mechanic, but could be used on offense.

I tested her ability to parry stun. She works unless the champion has a cleanse ability. Doesn't work against Attuma either (probably because he reverses ability accuracy). Killmonger still gains power due to the debuffs being placed (likely occuring 'after' the glance action).
I tried her against Photon, and being able to freely stun without triggering the untouchable. Parrying Hulkling without triggering Pierce. Gonna have to try more champions.

Definitely gonna rank Dust up just for use on offense. I could never justify taking up Proxima or Sersi just for the glancing/AAR, but couldn't justify it compared to other cosmics.

Yeah glance can be good for a few things offensively plus helps them tank stuff so makes them feel tanky when taking blocked hits ignores crits so bullseye
