Finally this chapter had a cutscene, after so long that we didn't get one... that, along with Glykhan not being revealed as the boss and instead represented as ?, gave me old acts vibes, which is definitely good
Anyway...
After Glykhan's defeat, The Chronoserpant finally reveals himself to the team and well for some weird reason his reasons still sound genuinely good and not evil (tho I think his endgame is the death of every single champion and the battlerealm... definitely evil... but there's no way his excuse for that is liberating everyone from elders' grasp forever, probably he just wants to feast on the energy of the battlerealm? If anyone have insight on that I'd like to hear it)
Anyway, if I've got this right, he seemingly offers Carina and crew the same thing he offered the bosses... power, then he says he didn't offer it to them, but to the council, and others among them...

So what do u think this means? Some of them will probably agree, and then this means more corrupted champs

But honestly I'm tired of how Ouroborus seems noble with their reasonings, even now, that they do all they do for liberation and stuff... I wanna finally see Ouroborus' true face, true ambitions and evil

We will probably see four more corrupted bosees in act 9. In act 8 we had three classes, skill (Scytalis), science (Bahamet) and tech (Cerastes) corrupted bosses, and Glykhan served as the final combined class boss. So in Act 9, we should see
the other three classes, a corrupted Mystic (maybe Scarlet Witch), Cosmic (Thor probably), and a Mutant (not sure who) with another combined champ as the final boss (either Chronoserpent or Carina).

I think it'll be too soon to fight the chronoserpent. It's more likely that carina will get corrupted and we'll have to free her or something along those lines imo

Well we did see the serpent in the background of the anniversary trailer so maybe act 9 is the conclusion unless they’re planning act 10 as the actual finale

I feel like the serpent is more of a book closer final villain and there's so much more to tell in the current story I don't know if the team would want to rush to wrap it all up in an act or so. In my mind I was picturing 4-6 acts for book 2

And they can do a lot more, there has been plenty of hints for galactus and i believe the team can find a way to make him a boss, afterall he can change his size whenever he wants

Act 9, Chronoserpent starts corrupting elders, and we have to fight a corrupted Maestro, Collector, Grandmaster, and Carina

It's not the actual Galactus so it does not count, i feel like they can give the heralds the same treatment that they gave for the corrupted bosses and build up galactus as a major villan for an act

We also have several actual heralds that are missing as well such as Firelord, Morg, Nova, Tyrant, etc
