Silk vs. Photon

I have r2 to r3 science rank up gem and I am between these two ladies. Who should I rank up?

Granted I’ve only played silk as a 6* R3 but I have a 7* Photon and I wish I had a science gem. She’s so good on offense and defense

If Photon was duped this would be a different story, but silk deserves it 100% as an attacker. She’ll nuke anything in battlegrounds

Unduped Photon is kinda just alright on defense imo. Once she gets the dupe she goes crazy though and she’s still a phenomenal attacker

Imo Photon needs high sig to be a threat on defense, and ramp up quick enough on attack. I wouldn't r3 Photon unless she was sig 100-120 at the very least personally.
