Battlegrounds Matchmaking what is going on???

I have been playing this game for a while but still recently got cavalier and i am pushing to be thronebreaker soon, playing battlegrounds this season feels very weird where every match i play is with paragon or even valiant players is this a normal situation, for reference i am platinum 2 in battlegrounds not so high in terms of league but still getting matched to players who have full roster of 7 stars or 6 star rank 5 whereas i am just having 3 6 star at rank 3 and other champs being 5 star rank 5 mostly, how am i getting matched to those players its getting frustrated, if this is normal just say get good and i will stay silent but its getting out of hand since this season. All the matches in images shown have been with such players rarely getting a player equal.or.fairly near around me.

    At plat2/1 you will face paragons/valiants for the most part. Best thing to do is push story progression and work on your roster.

    But that was not case in previous seasons, it was fairly normal and in previous to previous season i was even able to push above plat 1, but thanks for the info will keep that in mind.

    it actually depends when you did the push. towards end of season, p1 will be emptied of paragons and valiants, making it easier to progress.

    💩 Paragon, with 10 R5s and 1 x 7R2. Started in P3, in D3 atm, 16 fights and 14 wins. Idgaf about BG, i do my 3 fights every 48 hours, but also try to get a promotion every 48 hours. So far, pretty happy about my situation. Last seasons with 4-5 R5s, it was 🔥 hell 🔥…soooo, do HQ…get those fancy R5s…because skill dosn’t really matter.

    As cavailer/thronebreaker, BG above Plat is almost unplayable. Many strong paragons/valiants slumber in P1/2/3 and farm points. In the last week, they will probably move, for rank rewards. Try then.

    Unfortunately with deals and even more so with 8.4, it’s only going to get worse. There’s no real way to catch up in this game as it takes time and with that time, whales, low spenders, and FTP who hardcore grind also advance. It’s rough.

    Okay, will keep that in mind and will make to sure to progress fast enough aiming to be thronebreaker by the end of this month btw. Lets see what will happen then.
