What happened to the scheduled maintenances?

From what I remember, the current AI, bugs and dropped inputs weren't that severe back when we had weekly maintenance. Sure the game was much simpler then, but I believe that state of the game would be healthier if we had those maintenances again. Hypothetically if they were to come back, how would Kabam do it with all the content now, especially with battlegrounds?

    It was actually weekly,at least back in the day, I don't remember it ever being bi weekly. Every Tuesday, iirc.
    But either way, you are right that it had absolutely nothing to do with bugs, and everything to do with server maintenance.

    Can I ask, what drives you to assume that fixing A.I is so easy like you make it out to be? In your previous comment in this thread, you talk about "teleporting A.I". I've never experienced it ever playing this game. Same with your comment above, I haven't had A.I holding specials for 30 seconds to reach a SP2 that can't be dex'd.

    Don't you understand that many of the interactions that people have with the A.I are things they are experiencing alone? Y'all reference a few videos like from Beroman but as much as you or anyone else on here complains about the A.I, none of you ever show it either.

    I have some weird interactions like being light intercepted but it usually happens to me because I think the defender is running in. It's not something that is easy to fix and with all the different devices and everything out there, you can't just press a magic button and make the AI work how you want it.
    I just assume that core feature of a competitive game shouldn't be left unfixed for THIS long months now? But if you say it's hard, we'll just agree to it I guess.

    We don't need scheduled maintenances. We need unexpected, sudden, unscheduled maintenances that occur in crucial time (last 2 hr before bg season) uninformed, so that we all get sweet huge free stuff as compensation πŸ₯°

    It's incredibly difficult to "fix" the AI because of how complex the code is for interactions. It's not like it's "move a decimal on an excel sheet" and ta da it's fixed. It's layers on layers of code that has to work other layers. Just because you believe it shouldn't take this long, doesn't mean they don't know what they're doing. It's fairly obvious you don't have any experience with that topic at all and it's ok. You may think it shouldn't take that long but you are incorrect.

    Never had an issue with teleporting AI but AI animation cancelling and throwing specials while still mostly on the ground is a real issue. It seems like if the animation is now partly complete the AI can carry on as normal and that Includes the getting up animation, as long as it's been started they can launch a special.

    I concur with the AI "teleporting". This isn't new, this game has been plagued with this to a point that I've stopped complaining about it and an issue they just won't ever address and/or correct. I've tempered my expectations of things getting corrected on this game by Kabam, and accept whatever animal dung rolls out.
