a lot of flying bricks are riffs on Superman, Superboy or Supergirl. Hyperion is intended as such as part of Marvel's riff on the JLA; Gladiator is a riff on Superboy as part of the Imperial Guard being a riff on the Legion of Superheroes (he's name's Kalark as in Kal-El and Clark Kent for cryin' out loud), Sentry is basically a psychotic Superman, Shazam was Fawcett Comics' attempt to compete with the man of steel until they got sued by DC who didn't like the fact Big Red was outselling the big blue boy-scout.

Blue Marvel is a living antimatter reactor, how does that's looks any similar to Superman? Photon flies, and she's strong, and she's nowhere near Superman, as does Namor, or America Chavez... The list is not short enough for me to write it all here

Superman runs on solar energy for his powers. Blue Marvel runs on antimatter. I never said it was exactly 1:1 but it's pretty clear he's a Black Superman riff.

I hope DLL does his kit because his abilities via anti matter should make him a crazy unique champ. He should basically be immune to any energy damage and energy DOTs should only make him stronger. Would be cool if he has a synergy that makes certain energy dealing champs even stronger (photon, CMM, Chavez).

I've been following Comics Explained for years and Rob there has had the hots for Blue Marvel during all that time. I had no idea who he was before I heard Rob talk him up every chance he got, but now I'm sold (despite not having seen or read or rarely even heard of him from any other source than Comics Explained) so I'd very much like him in the game now.

What I think could set him apart from other Superman-esque champions is that he's apparently super smart as well. I think that could be a cool aspect to build his kit around. Be a brawler, yes, but also have the brains to back up his fists.

He could be the science version of Gladiator (post buff obviously). Also please give him degen immunity, it makes sense
