Here's the thing...
Android users losing time this week was unfortunate. Because this game is global, people in different countries and time zones are more affected than others, and the impact is felt in both AW and arenas. The AW issue is fairly easily resolved with some compensatory rewards to people affected by this. The arena issue could have also fairly easily been resolved with a gift of stamina. It wouldn't have necessarily covered all of the lost time for everyone, but it could have at least made it possible to either get people close to getting either Starlord or Voodoo, or people could have saved the stamina to have a better chance at the next round of arena or some future arena run. But waiting so long to resolve this, or even make an attempt to resolve this means that, very likely, you're either going to leave android users disappointed, or iOS users feeling like the compensation is unfair.
I think kabam would benefit from the old adage--"he who gives quickly, gives twice."
At this point, I am prepared to be underwhelmed by any compensation offered for lost time in arenas, which is really what my personal issue was. I was saving up boosts for Dr. Voodoo, but by the time I got in to the arena, I know others already had a million more points than me, so why bother. And to be frank, I feel like this is just another frustration that's making me question seriously how many more frustrations I'm willing to weather. And I honestly don't know at this point. But I will say that if the next time something comes up, it gets handled more quickly--even if imperfectly--I'm going to be willing to stick around longer. But if there's no one available for many hours (again, considering it's a global game), and information trickles out slowly (I was able to log in before I was told that I would be able to log in--that's poor communication), and if discussions of compensation last so long that it becomes largely irrelevant, then I would imagine I'm fairly close to having had enough.
