Alliance war issue

I started a new alliance with my friend and I recruited a bunch of people and they all placed for bg1. I tried placing and it shows the join button but it is Grey. It says I am assigned their but won’t let me join even though newer people were able to join

    Were you placed in your old alliance in the war that’s currently going on?

    I think I placed in bg 2 in my old alliance does that have something to do with it? Also could I fix it?

    Still not working and I’ve working and I’ve waited a few days

    Best is to actually REMOVE your defense from old Ally before you actually leave the old Ally.

    But now, think you might have to wait until Wed. war this week.
    Your defense was maybe already in “queue” for Sundays war already before Sunday actually came around, so still stuck there thru Tues when it ends.

    Has been a pain for most people switching since they started Auto-Enlistment and persistent placement,
