Overrated or underrated: Black widow (Deadly Origin)

Welcome to another episode in this series where I discuss about certain champions if they are overrated or underrated. BWDO is our next champion on the list. In my opinion she’s a very fun champ via the intercepts, she has good shock damage, she can reduce ability accuracy, etc. Compared to Black Widow OG, she’s a lot better. Plus the newest skill champion, Silver Sable reminds me of her because she also has shock damage and attacks.

So is this Champion overrated, underrated, or perfectly rated? Would she be 7* worthy

    I think it was because she was released alongside Red Guardian who got most of the spotlight instead

    her issue is that she's all damage. I can think of so many other champs that nuke fights but also have utility to back it up

    She is an MVP for this months EQ the final quest where shock prevents evade and you get a passive fury every time evade is prevented

    Well we weren't aware, till now.
    But not because of this post being brought back. You don't need to go back through every post related to a champion that's getting buffed or updated to let everyone know, I'd argue you don't even need to make a new thread about it

    I think the issue BWDO lies, is that her damage is from shock.

    Don’t get me wrong, her shock can be deadly if you mess up when fighting her on defence. However, there are sooo many champs with immunity or resistance to shock, making her almost useless in certain matchups, KT1 said this and I’m in complete agreement.

    Hulkling, Thing, Korg, Dust, Onslaught, Doom, IDoom, Abs man, Adam Warlock, Mangog, Scorpion, Shocker, Shuri, Terrax, Super Skrull.

    Arguably the only defenders that aren’t shock immune are Serpent, Destroyer, Photon, Fantman (glance can stop it though), Nick Fury and Sassy.

    BWDO is good for sure, but her use in War is limited due to the listed champions that are shock immune, especially in BG’s if your opponent has a lot of those champions shock immune, she’s kinda useless. She does have ability accuracy reduction which is great. I’ve never really heard anyone call her bad tbh.

    She’s not overrated, wouldn’t say she’s underrated, perfectly rated is where I stand.
