When has it come to the champs you have on defense and not the deaths that the defense causes. We had 41 more defender kills but lost by a landslide because of diversity.
AW is not suppose to be let’s just throw in a bunch of different champs to win. It was suppose to be about skill and setting up your teams.
This lose was a joke and should never have happened.

Of course you are goimg to get more kills by flooding the map with difficult defenders. That is not skill.
The other alliance would probably would have one if you didn’t place dupes of difficult defenders

Having 114/150 unique champs and overly placing repeat tactic defenders… This is the reason why they greatly increased diversity points.

Well, a season ago.
Diversity now on par with a full 3x lost Attack Bonus.

Probably shouldn’t be that high, but they really wanted to discourage duplicates.

But also has another consequence, which I don’t think was actually brought up in all this when initially discussed.

2 BG vs 3 BG alliances.
(although since Persistent Placement, that really discouraged 2 BG Ally’s for war already, although with soon-to-come leadership ability to manage defense that may make 2 BG Ally’s more palatable again).

Increasing Diversity probably pushed down 2 BG wars in what Season-ending Rank they're able to achieve even more because of the huge increase to Diversity Pts.

You could just enroll as 3 BG wars (with enough people), and get more points, even without having everyone join attack and get Explore/Bonus points, or even worry about Boss Kill or War Win points.
They could even be lower Alt. Accounts, just to place diverse defense, even if you never login to attack all season.

The thing that's often missed with those high defender kills is that, points-wise, a defender taking 3 kills is exactly the same as a defender taking 23 - after the 3rd KO, they no longer make a difference in points. You need to look at how those defender kills are spread out amongst the defenders because you're MUCH better off with 4 defenders getting 3 KOs each than 1 getting 12, even though they present in that single number exactly the same.
