Saga Incursion Def - Confused

So based on the announcement post.

It indicates that Def will be Cosmic and Skill only.



So what is happening here?

I think its only for the boss zones so 1 4 8 12 16 20 24 etc

The wording is definitely a bit confusing in the official post. Definitely seems to only be the rooms with Kraven and Gladiator in them.

Well it says themed zones which in all the other ones are normally the boss zones

If this is the case then Section 7 is far overtune.

Most Saga champs are Cosmic, Mutant, Skill and Mystic (with only a couple of Science). Such a limited pool.

Yet we facing a full range of Defs, including lots of Mystic and the Mr Sinister there on the right, which would need a Robot with Heal Block (with his new buff).



I saw @Danxor mentioned on a different thread. Facing Sasquatch without being abls to accessing to a proper counter just seem like a bit much, once again Sasquatch come to ruin the day, just like AW showcase.

All of this with no extra opportunities to get Incursion revives & potions (like other previous Incursion Event Quest), and lower Sector rewards being lock out).

I thought this was to encourage players to do Incursion. 😔

Its suppose to be challenging also just luck on what nodes u get

Hi @Bendy ,

I'm all for challenging, but then there is also such thing as overtune too.

With a limited Attacker pool, thought it would been fair to have a limited Def pool too.

Don't forget the new Def Boss, Craven leaving you with Suppression for the next 4 fights is pretty nasty too, cheeky move from Kabam I would say.

Well for most mystics theres void but sometimes u just have to keep reentering till u get a none roadblock fight i had a weapon x on 24 just about managed to power through him but the limited counters are expected to make it difficult but still in tune with sector 6

Edit: team i ran was deathless guilly dkg (synergy) then odin swap odin for nick later down line but plan was if any mystics use void but got lucky the only tough part was weapon x kraven wasnt bad with deathless as she shreds

I'm at Zone 11 with Bishop, Thing and WWBN, doing a test run.

My high Void is 7*R1 undupped, would that be any good or should I stick with Thing?

Just wish some of these contents are a bit more accessible for players, just feel like a lot of contents recently have been overtune, and not sure why the need to, we already got EoP2 and the CCP for "challenge".

It really depends on nodes and high health that thing might not be able to cheese since damage wise is main thing u gotta watch and just have to keep looking but without void dup reverse regen fights incase of roadblocks like sas or any other high regen void wont work so keep with thing and keep trying also make sure u run odin pre fights as the 15% protection is very helpful

As the 5 min refresh also just keep trying different champs and u might get a run where theres no regen based fights just keep practising as this is on for a month i wouldnt stress about pain point fights when u can run so much just dont do too much where incursions feels bad to play

Any tunnel vision sucks also revival nodes with aggression fury rough as hell

Ive been through it of how stressful this can be im also down to play incursions with anyone right now for those that want to practise

Well all u can do is retry in sector 7 due to limited counters u would have to quit and start over as no one can kill a say sas later on if nodes are immune to debuffs or a lot of regen or nodes u cant stun him etc which u would have to retry there is no strat as its just getting lucky as i had this at 24




If i didnt have dguilly and he wasnt just spamming heavy id of had to restart as this fight is basically a roadblock in xmagica since limited counters as theres no heal blockers really

Having free time means nothing i just love incursions that i would just retry if i had to quit due to roadblock as i wouldnt spend items on something i cant kill

No Bulleyes or Serpent.

I used Odin on Bishop and Thing, but I thinking it is better to put Odin on WWBN instead since Thing for protection.

I'm also thinking if Weapon X might be a better replacement for Bishop.

It is just those Mystic and Regen Node gonna be a maximum road block.

Also not sure what would be the best Hack to pick either.

Bishop is better than weapon x id say instead of werewolf do u have a deathless guilly? And maybe is better on werewolf for sure potentially

Edit: damn root also yeah thats a bad node combo with him also just reviving 5 times also nick u could run

Hacks i went with was stun related but because u have thing u might want strategic movement he works well with that due to his protection u can build up a lot and that would help u clear some fights that might feel roadblock

I only have Deathless Guillotine 7*R1 dupped.

Would she be strong enough?

I was wondering if maybe Iceman might be an interesting option, combined it Odin, he would have lots of immunities.

I was also hoping for Armour/ Stun related Hack, but didn't get the right combination 😔

Deathless can as she has regen for sure since u have her duped iceman can work also but depends on node combos

Yeah thats the ones i used for my run till i had a weapon x as shown above luckily the degen duration and potency node worked but scary node combo the weapon x i had as i was thinking to switch till i saw the champs and there was 0 counters

Just keep trying different champs if u have a kate maybe rank up give her a try all u can do is try and wish u luck on ur run and hopefully rng is blessed u with right node combos
