War Auto Enist Bug

Not sure the details matter in this case because my Alliance are seeing the same issue.

Everytime we enter the War screen, it asks us to disable Auto Enlist. One of our Officers mentioned the placement being erased a couple times now. I've saved our settings a few times now myself, and the bug still comes up everytime.

What exactly is the message showing .

From what I’ve seen of a box coming up there is if you have turned off auto-enlist. (I had tested turning Auto off and got message below..)
Message would come up saying something like auto enlist is off and reminding you that you will have to manually enlist every war (or something like that).

Sort of the opposite of what you said above.

Also, this war started and most of our defense was missing.

We've been getting the same thing. I'll post a screenshot tomorrow. I thought it was just me being dumb.

It took me couple of days but i managed to find a workaround. I had on season enlisted but not offseason. Because of this difference the error was poping up. So i enlisted 3 bg as usual in on season and 1 bg in offseason. Now it doesn't come.
When off season comes, i will stop enlistment to get my intended behaviour.

Think that is the same message box that INITIALLY comes up, if you are in War Enlistment Screen, and you have just turned off Auto-Enlist (right then, as basically a Confirmation).
So, re-read that message from that context, and it makes perfect sense.
It is asking (with question mark at end) basically “are you sure you want to do that”.
And in that case, you would be seeing the normal War Enlist Screen in the background (behind that message), which is NOT what you have shown.

But problem evidently it’s that they must be using that SAME message later on, whenever anyone goes into War Screens (and probably whether or not you are part of Leadership that can even change that setting), that same message pops up.
(not sure if the message is coming up BEFORE fully entering War Screens which is why it still has standard game background behind it ?)

Interesting that it comes up just because you have OFF-SEASON set for “Not Auto Enlisted”.
Code must be looking at either IN or OFF season setting, and prompting you that warning in either case of it being off.

I posted a bug issue about this as well, and of course, have not heard anything back yet.. apparently, there’s a few bugs in war this season.. 🤷‍♂️

This post made later had updated insight that was found to at least be the cause for some alliances (maybe all ?) versus your earlier original one. Keep comments in here for a common place about this issue. Thanks.

See higher up here. Even though you may not have IN-SEASON turned off, did someone maybe turn it off for the OFF-SEASON Setting ? (Which is maybe inadvertently causing this message even in season now ?)
That is what someone above had discovered.

This keeps popping up for all officers and it apparently bit us today. Someone must have accidentally hit the disable button because we were not enlisted for war today which is going to cost us for the season. Please fix.

If an officer mistakenly removed your ally from auto-enlistment, an officer can go back in and re-enlist that setting.

But other cases above did not actually remove them from “in season” war, it seemed that turning off the setting for “OFF SEASON” was done and for some reason was triggering this pop-up even though we are “IN SEASON”.

It did not actually remove them from being in the season wars (so your case someone must have removed from in season setting too).

Ours has come up everytime we go into the War UI. I've just accepted it at this point.
