How Good are the Deathless

I’ve been saving up my resources to get 6* Deathless King Groot (just waiting to be able to buy the Death(less) Metal Music. I also have enough resources to awaken, ascend, and take him to R3, but was wondering, should I? I can’t find him on any tier lists, and no one I know has him yet. Are the deathless all they’re cracked up to be, or should I spend my rank-up mats on another champion?

Deathless champs are trophy champs. They're a bit better than their originals, but nothing game breaking.

Deathless Guillo is quite nice for BG and other modes due to her healing ability and almost nobody is immune to her Degenerations. So great Mystic.

Deathless Groot not so good, I think.

Deathless Groot is going to be a very useful questing champ, if that's your thing. He's basically King Groot with more damage; which means that Awakened, he'll be an incredibly reliable path-clearer, with some useful utility in the form of shrug-off, bleed immunity, permanent armour breaks, and immunity to the commonest forms of Power Control; which render nodes like Redlining and Power Alternator completely harmless.

Damage-wise he's not going to be amazing, although he should cut through Tech #Heros really fast.
