Is Corvus 7* Worth R3?

I have enough resources to R3 a tech champ being my options Warlock or Shuri both unduped, but I'm 1 T6CC away of a Cosmic R3 instead. And though of R3 Corvus, but the opinions I've seen differ on him being really good or just not enough. What do you think?

    He's not enough until suddenly your best defender gets killed in like 20 seconds in bgs

    Not sure about damage but utility wise he doesn't beat Warlock or Shuri, and funnily enough I think both need r3 to be decent for BGs otherwise they're a little slow.

    he is right now.. where 7*s are still in mid deployment and r3s still not plentiful
    Once most defenders are 7R3.. he will drop off like he did as a 6*.
    This is the best time to r3 him if you intend to use him in AW specifically. I don't think he will be that relevant in BG still unless you get some nodes to help him (like GC week3 meta with PS1)

    I took Corvus to r3. I’m very casual and rank for fun, incursions, and story content. I’m interested to see if he gets banned in BG or not.
