thing preventing buff immunity debuff

in Bugs and Known Issues
this happened to me in war and i just did a practice fight and it happened again. thing is proc'ing "immune" when claire voyant is trying to place the buff immunity debuff on her sp2 about 50% of the time. i haven't been able to figure out what instances make the debuff stick and what instances are causing thing to be immune to it. android, latest update, nothing about my cell service or anything like that would effect this interaction.

    Against Science champs buff immunity only applies 50% of the time. The immune call out has been weird for some time

    seems it's happening when thing's timer is running for being immune to a bleed
