Hidden Champion Node in AW

Anyone remember this? Where you saw only the class of the defender in AW.

Feel like if you tone down the next tactic and brought this back for a cycle, could be freshen up AW….

Thoughts?

Wouldn’t make alot of sense since u can’t really plan ahead and with alot of scary defense it be a dead end

Why it was added in the first place is beyond me.
Same as the current Lense masteries being useless

i wouldn't mind a classic war series from 2017, 2018, 2019..where the layouts and nodes are identical and only champs from that era are allowed. it wouldn't make sense with how the game works but it would be fun.

as for bringing hidden champs back now, it wouldn't work. too many op defenders.

I remember it well - no thanks! Nodes (and tactics) are way too complicated and limiting now for that old chestnut to make a reappearance.

Oh man, those were the bad old days. We used to literally get Masteries just so we could see what class those defenders were and take a stab at who it would be based on that, and then people started playing games and putting different defenders of the same class just to throw you off...and Ultron was a great boss because there was no reliable way to stop his regen so people would just quit out once you hit his regen stages...my god war is so much better now...

I remember it well. It was fun back then (to an extent) but it could never work now with the 250+ champs there are.

Imagine having to take a guess if you're about to go against a bishop or an onslaught or a toad.
It just doesn't work now.
