Randomizers for Crystals

I recognize this will probably never happen, but I really love the randomizers idea and think it would be awesome if they had these for crystals. Say you get a champ you absolutely hate, you can use a randomizer and try for another champ. They could limit it to only one randomizer for a period of time or something and they could also charge units or something for them! What do you think?

As a theoretical idea, I think it is interesting. But do I think that specific idea is a good idea in this specific game? No. The problem is that the only interesting use for them would be in high value crystals, or at least crystals that had high value at the progression level of the player opening them. And randomizers by definition can make things worse just as much as they can make them better.

We already have a not insignificant contingent of players who think all sorts of nonsensical conspiratorial things about the random drop system as it is. Giving them one more random element to find patterns in and declare as a rigged money grab just doesn't seem worth it to me.

Unless you could psychologically screen the players before allowing them to use them, I think they would cause more trouble than they are worth.

I thought it could be good because it definitely doesn't guarantee you get a better champion if you use the randomizer, but if you get or 5* She-Hulk (like I did my last 5* pull), you could use the randomizer and possibly get a better pull. It may create more problems, I'm not sure, but I saw it as a way to possibly reduce the complaints here about bad pulls. But you are right, people could still be upset about it. I think it would be interesting though! 🙂
