Beta ray bill-the Gladiator

So honestly I was quite surprised by the route the design team went with Beta ray bill, not saying it looks bad by any means, but im not used to that gladiator aspect of Ray bill.
I wonder how that focus (on ray bill's time of being a Gladiator ) like, will his abilities have anything to do with being a gladiator?
Even more, his synergies will surely be influenced by it, for example he can have a synergy called "Gladiators of the contest featuring Aegon and Gladiator (can't think of someone else), he can have synergies with Thor Ragnarok, Hulks-and I say hulks cuz he can have synergies both with-Gladiator Hulk for being a Gladiator, and Classic Hulk cuz of Sakaar lore.
Actually Ray bill have a big potential with synergies, said synergies above, synergies with Asgardians, and with animals ig.
