Double track event - valiant

Why does the double track event selectors have 2 paragon crystals and not the newly created valiant crystal? Seems odd to make a crystal for valiant and not include it for valiant players

Probably because it’s just more valuable since the drop rates favour 7* more then the paragon crystal does. Also sometimes these events are planned like months prior so it could be the case that they planned and began coding the event before the introduction of valiant crystal. Last twitch stream they said they started planning the current saga during December so they could also have started planning the double track around that time too

I was just about to come on here and ask the same. The selectors were made after right? Sooooo. Why....and do the selectors offer 7* platinum pool pieces?

That's why paragon crystals are 1000 a pop now. The value is higher than valiant crystals! Lol

Yeah and it’s not like including valiant crystals would break the game we go from a 1.25% chance at a 7* to a 2% chance. They should of been in there.

The short answer is this event was built before the Valiant crystals were. I'm not saying they would for sure be Valiant crystals if that wasn't the case, but that's why they weren't considered.
