Battlegrounds matchmaking not happening

I have been trying to matchmaking to play an opponent for more the 30:00 min but it's not even matchmaking. I have waited 3:00 min before repressing the matchmaking button. Today I have come to play battlegrounds to complete at least the platinum in bg but it's not matching making.what is the problem here.please fix it as soon as possible.it is important

    yeah this has been an issue for me all morning. much lower bracket (Silver 3) and unable to find a match, clearly an issue with the game

    Is it still taking TOO LONG to find matches today, after Kabam's updated announcement confirming the new matchmaking method came out ?

    Or has that been resolved now ? (even though sounds like no extra changes have been made)
