Never thought I’d see it happen

Last time I experienced a tie we had different time finishes and different health differences so there was an ability to round and decide a winner, but this time we both hit time and health exactly the same, so they do have ties.. The person quit after the second round so not sure how the match would have ended had we finished it out fully.

Yes, there is such a thing as a whole MATCH tie.

If they did not just quit after that first fight “tie”, and you split the 2nd and 3rd fights (1 each), then the match itself also would have tied.
No medals earned or taken away in that case.
