Is this intentional? Weird reward in diamond 4

in Bugs and Known Issues

I got to diamond 4 and only recieved 1500 tokens lol it wasn't like a visual bug, that's the amount i actually got and i checked the original post for bg season 19 and it was supposed to 3000
Am i missing something?

    It’s a bug. The missing 1500 trophy tokens were sent as part of the compensation package at the start of the season.
