Mot sure who to rank 3 next.

Here are my current Rank 3s and contenders at rank 2.

Bullseye and Guardian also going up to rank 2 just working out Gems and Catalysts

Need defender I think. Someone everyone will probably block in Battlegrounds but finally let me use one of my other ranks 3s

I have domino, Chavez, & Black cat are r3. All are amazing. If you hadn't mentioned you're needing a defender, so Bullseye it is. Really can't go wrong with most of your options

Yeah, she can occasionally get you with the heavies cause of bad AI but half the science class nukes her in 30-40 seconds regardless.
