They didnt even turn 22 hour event back on....COMPENSATION!!!!!!LOL
Do you know what TIME OF DAY the previous 22-Hr event ended prior to the Super Event starting. And if you were to propagate the 1.5 hr difference each day forward until now, what time of day the next 22-hr should actually begin today ?????????
Yes....Hero Event 1 pm CST
Is that US-Central time ? (which would actually be correct, or 2:00pm US-Eastern earlier today, see my math in follow-up comment). And just a very strange coincidence that it lined up with the 2:00pm EST timing of the SUPER EVENTS start/end times.
And what Progression cycle are you ? 2:00pm EST today would have been 2nd letter in cycles I go by, which for Paragon/Valient progressions only would indeed be Hero Use. (EHLA)
Note, I’m assuming that the normal rotation cycle and times were still being maintained all month long (even though UC and above didn’t actually get the Events) because those who were BELOW UC would have still been getting their 22-hr Solo Event all this time (I assume).
**MATH** (all times below are US-Eastern time, or EST for ease of writing, even though I know it is technically EDT for daylight. I tend to write it as EST for the timezone no matter what season we are in)
Final 22-hr Solo Event had started on Monday June 24th at 8:30am US-EST (and it was the 4th letter in cycle). Which was 5.5 hrs prior to start of that days very 1st Super Event.
(note 1 - so we did actually have some, actually most, of an overlap of our final 22-hr, and 7-hr, Solo Events at same time with the newly begin Super Event that 1st day).
Time offset between 22-hr Events is actually a consistent 22 hrs + 35 mins from one to the next.
Do some quick math to figure out that there would have actually been 30x of “22-hr events” during that time. With the 1:25 hr earlier start each day allowing to squeeze in 2 more events during that 28 day (4 week) period we had the Super Event.
So 30 events, starting at that final 8:30am event that Monday, would lead to a 2:00pm starting time on today's Monday for what would be 2 letter days advancement in the cycle (7 cycles x 4, + 2 extra, starting from 4th letter day, thus equals 2nd letter today).
** Big coincidence being that the final 22-hr event that began at 8:30am, which was exactly 5.5 hrs prior to when that 1st Super event started, is also exactly the 5.5 hrs advancing on a clock if you add up 30x events at 22:35 hrs per event.
(CONCLUSION) So, while it appears as if we should have EXACTLY been able to switch back from END of the Super Event, to the START of the resumption of 22-Hr Solo Event, and the exact same time. I'd venture to guess that the switchover would have NOT allowed it to be done exactly at same time. **and that we should anticipate the actual next start to then be tomorrow, at 12:25pm US-EST.
So another almost 17 hours of people posting “Where is the 22-hr Event ?” (note, didn’t calculate out the 7-hr event, but that should probably resume shortly, before waiting for the 22-hr one to start).
So (without calculating the 28 days), would have meant one prior to this would have otherwise started 1 hour BEFORE final Super Ended. Thus why we didn’t get a 7-hr one before now tonight.
I voted no. I pulled a complete T3 alpha catalyst from the daily crystal today. Unlike the daily super event where I got only a fragment.
Well, today you got lucky, probably tommorow you might even pull a 7 star who knows. But when talking about over a period of time, are you sure that is better? This ain't rewards most of the time
Mm maybe you should collect for a week and compare what you used to get vs what you are getting. And also, I like to add that selecting the catalysts adds a huge value to super event over daily crystals
I could argue that the only big difference in a prolonged period of time is just the extra 5 units you get from the Super Event.
Great! Now grab T4A or titan shards, or 7* sig stones, oh waaait.
Super event to stay please! So much better giving us the freedom to level up when we choose, play the content we wish and get rewards that are better suited to our progression level. I much preferred it to the previous daily event setup.
Today, apparently super event is in its final days and is coming to an end, for now. But even for one day anybody really prefer those 22 hr events over this? Anyone want to select between waiting 3 days to rankup their favourite champion or losing units and levelup event rewards? Anyone likes to do eq completion if they already completed it? Anyone cares to play arena except for units? Anyone get excited to claim those daily greeen crystals every 4 hour? And the tons of other small events like class champion usage who nobody even cares for at this point, to get those green shards, idk what they are called or why they are here.
The point is, in almost every way, Super event is better. We get more rewards, makes us grind less, helps us progress faster, even makes logging in daily and playing ingame more rewarding. IMO it should def stay here, and would like to know if anyone disagrees (and why).
As far as i know, kabam will collect the feedback and will bring back super event eventually (Lets be real, nobody would vote against), but maybe the poll could help us speed up the discision.
Mondays and Tuesdays are already a dead spot as far as content is concerned so it’s even worse losing the 22 hr event at this exact moment. No raids, no BG’s, no new SQ content, and if you’re not locked into endgame content you basically don’t need to be here.
I think they should either buff the current rewards for the daily milestones or as others have said… just keep the event around permanently. Not only was it more rewarding but it combined all of the other daily tasks which gave us more agency about HOW we would reach these milestones, the freedom we were granted is something Kabam can’t go back on now.

What was it like 0.5% of a t4a? Lol
yeah, half T4A in a month, just for playing, that T6CC could be formed or being a lucky drop, that's all.
I don't post on here much these days but I wanted to pop in and say that this event was one of the best changes we have seen IMO and I would love to see it be made permanent.

I don't remember how much it was I said 0.5% if that is really the case, its not half a month lol
