Discussion about ascending 4/5*s. "Now What?"

So I'm struggling to decide which 5*s I should ascend with T1 Dust. I've already ascended a couple categories of champs.
1)5* exclusive champs - Quake and Magic
2)Incursions help champs - Apocalypse and Galan
3)Champs for carina challenges - Guillotine, Starky, Thor ragnarok and Hulk ragnarok
4)Champs I don't (or didn't) own as 6/7*s

So my question is, now what? I don't have anymore champs to ascend for carina challenges, I own most 6*s already so ascending 5*s for that reason doesn't matter, I don't need any other 5*s for incursions, and I don't have anymore exclusively 5* champs. There just isn't a reason to ascend anymore 5*s especially without anymore Carina Challenges.

I think that if you hit a level where the content you're playing requires so many 6* & 7* champs, you might really only benefit ascending $ & 5* champs for arena play. Use the dust to increase PI to score more points towards the milestones for unit and gold farming. Otherwise it's just more stuff cluttering up your stash.

If you like to do arena, I would suggest ascending 4 stars. I ranked and ascended only the heaviest hitters like hit monkey, gamora etc. Who are able to win fights fast to make the grind for top milestone as quick as possible

I am an Arena Grinder and I like to ascend my 4 star champions for easier time in arena.

They also give more points hence less grind.

Bar potentially arena, you will forget 4 and 5 exist. Target your highest pi champs to raise it more for more points per fight. If not just rank people that make you happy. Me personally I target trophy champs (except quake and magik). It makes me smile to have them up.
