So, it kinda looks like Relics are dead... apart from the 2-3 rank up from act 8 and the offers nothing has happened in a while.

Kabam aren't even releasing new Relics because the players don't seem to bothered and I kinda get why, apart from the striker (which is great) there's no real use for them, the odd champ is a bit better with the right relic etc but I don't think it's thay noticeable.

I think it's time to overhaul them... back when they were mentioned I heard rumours of Relics being synergies, so rather than having to bring an extra (mostly useless) champ in quest you attach the relic, or in BG you have the relic for that synergy.

Kabam have complete control who is released as a relic so no issues around having some crazy OP relic/champ synergy but some that improve things like Kitty with Tigra relic, Ghost with Wasp relic etc

I think this would make them much more chase items than they are now as some synergies make champs a lot more valuable

But idk just a thought 🤷‍♂️

Combo extenders, free stuns, helps when AI decide to step back to attack, good enough.

Main flaw to release was how a 4* relic does everything what a 6* can do.
Sure 6* have few extra perks but to avg player that don't mean anything, basic relics does everything.

It also didn't helped when first few months gave 100 relic shards as "rewards"
