Am I missing something or is there no real point the the crucible normal mode?

Everyone who's able to get 7* has the potential to clear it on legendary so they might as well go for that.
I'm looking at it as I might as well get it done with the 2 paths, because otherwise I'll have to do 6 ultimately

Nerhhh if u can do legendary just go for it. Normal isn't really that easy by itself

This content is roster based. If you have a big roster, with 6* r4+/ 7* r2+ you should be fine to do legendary. However if your a lower progression like early or mid paragon, maybe even high paragon or lower then your most likely not gonna have enough champs to complete this quest without wasting a hefty amount of revives.

Crucible is a permanent content but the objective is temporary. So those who are gunning for the vision pieces or token will be able to just do the normal mode to complete the objective and then take up the legendary difficulty once they have a more built roster.

I'll get the vision piece on normal, worry about legendary later since there is a time limit.

I would've been happier with the piece in the rewards but it is what it is

Nope just legendary. That’s the entire design purpose behind no rewards in normal, so that players who do legendary don’t have to do normal too for all the rewards.

If you can do Legendary difficulty now, then just do it. Normal difficult is for players with less expansive rosters, and those who want to step through it slower.

I was one of "those who want to step through it slower" people until I realized I'm wasting my time. I have since quit out & restarted doing legendary...
