I wasn’t able to buy it, but I will be able to when I get paid next week.
I know it’s obviously not the best choice of what to spend my money on, but I’d definitely buy it.
On a side note, this event is one of the best you guys have ever done.

If you were to buy it next week, you'd only benefit from a few extra crystals, making the deal significantly less valuable.
Everyone is free to do what they want with their money, so I certainly won't tell you how to use yours. If you enjoy the game and spending money on it here and there increases that enjoyment for you, have fun.
However, if you have to wait to get paid to buy something in the game, perhaps it is working out for the better that you couldn't afford it when it was available.

I spend money on this game here and there because it is really the only game that I play and most other things I enjoy are far more expensive than $5 here and there. So I'm not saying don't spend money, but I am saying it may not always be wise to.

It is odd that the offer to get Double-Up wasn’t longer, even though the longer you would wait, the more you would be missing out on.

Maybe if someone (someone else) waited towards the end, and then bought it, they might complain afterwards how they were getting jipped that it was still available but only getting a few extra crystals afterwards.

(I didn’t even realize the Mail Message does indeed say “only for limited time”)

Not a scam, since overall this is a way better version of the legend crystal. Everything is upgraded, it gives much better percentage of everything, but it is still rng based. My only concern is that it may not contain any Titan shards, I haven't seen anyone anywhere getting these.
And it s not that kabam gave us a drop rate list, yet. Now, why s that?

It probably would be for a player that always and only hit the best stuff available. But RNG is a cruel beast and we're probably fighting rough drop rates to get past 6* shards, t6b and t3a.

Really it is the 7 star attached to the deal that makes the pricing bad. If it was only the crystals the deal would cost probably half as much and then actually be great.

After looking at it twice, I’m glad I didn’t buy the offer- but having those extra chances at more T4A is pretty huge imo. It’s 100% a gamble across the board, but without a doubt if you hit the jackpot a few times; it is 100% worth the 100. At least in my opinion.
