Fix game mechanics or give compensation.

How are you supposed to use gladiator, valkyrie, titania and everyone with an intimidate mechanic or champions who need to hit into opponents block when intimidate doesn't work and hitting into opponents block gets you parried?

They've said many times they're working on the ai issues and will announce any fixes as and when they have made progress

When it takes too much time it's normal for people to get furious. I hate losing a match in bgs because kabam refuse to fix AI. When this happens continuously it just drives people out of the game. They should do faster whatever fix they are doing. Otherwise we're gonna see these posts regularly

Coding isn't something you can just do faster lmao. They could fire out a band aid fix quickly but if they don't test it to make sure it won't cause more issues down the line it'll only lead to me frustration

I agree, but frustration is warranted when there have been problems which have gone unsolved unanswered. I understand this is a difficult process, they would be working to solve this but as a player who expects the champions to function as they should, I think compensation is not an unreasonable ask.

I don't think any type of coding fix of mobile game should need 8+ months now,

just working out what in the code is causing issues is half the problem.
the game has evolved beyond what it was originally planned.
hense they announced a while back essentially rewriting the code to bring it up to scratch.
was it project genesis they called it?
or something like that.

i understand that is a hell of a long process but that was announced to be getting worked on from years ago.
either they have done it and it didn't help with much, or, they have not yet done it which would make one think it has been put on the back burner

They have to test the fixes to make sure that they don't cause more unintended issues which can take a while. Besides which they have been pushing ai fixes into the patches and have notified in the patch notes when that's happened

So much BS...
They "tweaked" the AI, because the game was becoming easier, and now it is all working as intended, with an impredictible and evolving AI that really challenges even the best of us.. So this is not their problem, it is their solution to a (us) problem.
Maybe the inputs issue was/ is real, but how many years does it take to fix??!?

Because there's only so much time to test and with the amount of content they put out every month it's expected to a degree

Objectively, so many of these game mechanic and AI recovery/behavior issues have been persistent issues that have only gotten worse instead of better for almost 2 years now.

I can appreciate that it takes time to implement fixes but let’s look at some of the individual pain points:

-Double mediums used to cause you to get reparried, now any attack can be reparried

-In fight lag causing you to mistime an action, now in fight lag can completely lock up your character model

-AI holds specials too long, now AI strategically times specials with punishing node times, or perfectly waits out your timers

-AI was recovering faster than human put still needed to go through all animations, now the AI skips animations to parry or punish you, hell they can even do it from their back

Each time, the player base is told a fix is incoming, but each time it ends up getting worse with new issues stacked on top.

And what’s crazy to me is device really seems irrelevant to all of the above as I just upgraded from an iPhone 13 to 15 pro and all of the above is still an issue.

Posts like the OPs are because of the lack of serious improvement or communication.

I guess i'll remove R3 Titania from my BG deck, that's how bad she is now, good job, Kabam!! At least remove then intimidate debuff from her kit, and give us RDTs!!
PS: the way things are going, we should get RDTs every week..

Just adding to the list:-

List of champs affected by the current game issues, include but not limited to:-

Intimate- Titania, Gladiator, Adam, Hulkling, Mantis

Defender - Parry when hitting into Block - Valkyrie, Hulkling, WbN, Masacre, Tigra and any Double Medium champs.

Fight again Peni or any PvP mode the require hitting into block Node.

Defender - Wait when Charging Heavy - Mr Negative, Patriot, Cassie

I'm not a top end players and sure I have missed out othed affected champs, pleass do add more if you know of any other.

This is not including other AI interaction, loading time in BG and lag, which I'm sure other already mentioned.

While the community can understands that these issues maybe complicated and take time to find fix, these issues have such a large impact to the game it also understandable that players feel frustrated that is still going on and nothing help ease the "pain point".

The honest true is, with these issues having such a wide effect on a lot of game modes, I'm not even sure if compensation would help, and even if it does, what would consider as right to include in the compensation/"thank you for your patience" package.

I will throw the question out to the community.

If you think a "thank you for your patience" package would help, what would be ok/alright/fair/reasonable from both perpective?

You're like every salty football fan who thinks they know better than the GM or owner of the team but you're neither. Just because you THINK something shouldn't take that long doesn't mean it automatically shouldn't.

But by all means, tell.us right here how it should be fixed.

Too many new champions and new mechanics to release monthly (on top of the bugged code) - not enough time to fix the bugged code underneath properly.

No compensation to help assuage frustration - rewards to be earned using bugged code however

Again, so many of these are persistent long term and pervasive issues. Instead of things getting addressed and going away, for a substantial amount of time we’ve had new issues pop up while the old ones persist.

And to pretend like there is nothing they can do to alleviate some of the issues, is just being an a blind defender of in action. For example, defenders being able to parry could be turned off while they address the AI reparry issue, but no, instead we are asked to accept that risk now and play with the bug instead.
