How is Shocker going to benefit as a tactic attacker?

I’m not trying to be facetious, I truly would like to know how it will work? Reading the attack tactic, the attacker has to be able to apply debuffs that are not stun. How does that work for shocker? Unless I’m missing something, the only debuff he applies is stun.

If they’ve never played him, they wouldn’t know. So it’s entirely possible whoever put his name onto the list has never played using shocker.

I’m sure when he first arrived, most people if they didn’t read up on him would 100% assume he has shock in his base kit.

So it’s reasonable to assume whoever plans these events also had no idea also.

Maybe next time kabam could…maybe consult with. Content creators (like there’s loads of creators who could suggest stuff)…. Or maybe even….trial it with a few alliances before just rolling it out to the entire game?

Correct, as I understand it. There are other champions that are non tactic that can apply a heal block or reduce the regen. They won’t benefit from the can’t miss and APR

If I were feeling generous I’d assume that the tactic used to work with stun debuffs at some earlier development stage (wherein Shocker was good with the tactic), they decided to change it later for balancing reasons, and just forgot that this made Shocker nonviable with the tactic. That would be a bit more understandable than just not realizing Shocker didn’t work with the tactic and putting him in the pool.

Not sure why they even excluded stun from working with the tactic tbh. I don’t think it’s busted to let the tactic champs inflict the tactic heal block every 5 parries, especially since counters to stun and parrying in general are pretty commonplace.

I mostly play viv mlllm for heal block but that is passive. Gunna have to play her mllll for supression debuff. Will work well but gotta get used to the change.

Or just ignore it and play her normal. Her normal healblock still should reduce power gain

I think he doesn't benefit from the tactic he's just there. There are some objectives like play with the tactic champs like in monthly Eq and side quests. You can use shocker there. However, if you wanna use him in AW you need to rely on silk synergy to apply shocks on mediums but for that to happen, you will need all the stars to perfectly align cause you can only do that in a war where silk won't be banned.

U dont need to use silk though theres starky or vulture for synergy if u want to run just shocker
