Problem after maintenance

Before the last war in season 51 my alliance was at silver 1. After the war we where at gold 6 then maintenance was done to fix a bug. After the maintenance we are at silver 1 again. Why? Is this and if it is error with the game can someone please correct it.

War ranking are calculated slowly after the end of war, meaning lots of fluctuation flowing the end of a war. It's normal

Was that “after the war” Gold 6 actually shortly right after the war ended ?
(Which was more than a day before the problem/maintenance)

As mentioned, when you finish a war, it tends to show you at a higher ranking right away, because while your war's points have been factored in (you are the one looking at your alliance, so your system knows what your alliance did), all the other alliances points in their wars are not factored in for some time (# of hours) after the wars conclude. (*is what it seems to be all the time)

Or did you actually still see it at Gold 6 shortly before the maintenance (well, not shortly before, because there was a host of errors going on, so let’s say BEFORE all those game errors started) ? Was it still Gold 6 that next day after the last war had actually ended ?

You really should be comparing your Ranking at comparable points (as in, during a war) from one war to the next, to see it's actual changing.

This was brought to my attention by my alliance i was offline in bed 8 hrs later when i got back online the talk was going on in the alliance about the problem with are ranking and the maintenance. since im the leader i am the one who has to try and figure it out i dont have the exact time frame of events i just know it all happened in an 8hr period.
