Which version of Kushala is better

I played thr 6* unduped and it was pretty bad keeping her stuff paused. One bad AI just screws it all up, so i assume she needs at least sig 20?

Also does she even benefit fron tbe r3? Lagacy rated her low in his tier list saying that r2 is already enough

I haven't used kushala but I'm yet to see a r3 kush in bgs. Why so?

I have a 7* and a 6* asc duped
I have no plan on switching to the 7* because I do prefer the 6* ability to pause her spells, makes her a lot more sustainable and eases the tension of the fight especially when you need the unblockable spell activated all the time, the unduped does not have this sustainability. I did use the 7* unranked in the crucible tho lmao. But I'll be staying with the 6* and luckily she does not need the r3 be able to put out good damage (like 85% of 2024 champs lmao)
Same with silk, until I can get her duped, I'll be staying with the 6*,that slow is one of the most important part of her kit and why I use her so much.

I've got a 6* r5a sig200 and a 7* r1 sig20 kushala, and I think I'll continue using my 6* for a while. I don't really see a point in taking my 7* to r3 anytime soon.

Her spell pausing and the despair replacement from the sig are great to begin with, but what sets the 6* sig200 one apart from the 7* unduped/ low sig is the passive effect conversion imo. While it isn't the most relevant utility against cosmics (her main use), it's very good for general matchups against shrug off/ debuff immunity/ purify champs and nodes. It's not gonna come up often, but when it does you'll be glad you can handle it.

Plus, the passives give her extra potency on her soul barb and incinerates so that should keep the 6* r5a sig200 one competitive with the 7* r3 unduped/ low sig- dmg wise.

This is my take as someone who already had the 6* one maxed out before getting the 7*. Taking up the 7* now has very little cost-benefit for me.

That said, if I had a blank slate with the 6* and 7*, I'd take up the 7* instead as its more future proof.

My stance as an average player is that I try to have all 3 Blessings if I can, but if I can't, I don't stress about Blessings falling off. The only exception is when I need a specific blessing (such as block unblockable), in which case I would just focus on doing that action. It would be a rare situation where I explicitly need all 3 Blessings active at once for the unblockable ability, power rate mitigation, AI aggression, and increase DoT effect. I might lose out on some damage or some utility, but by and large I can get by without stressing about maintaining all the blessings.

If I need the regen rate manipulation, then I would use another champion or the 6-star duped. With everything else, she has a flexible playstyle that can compensate for being unduped.

All that to say is that I don't value her dupe ability that highly to use a 6-star duped over the 7-star unduped.
