Mole Man Help

So I got the science objective for Mole Man, but I'm trying the mutant objective and no one is working. I've tried weapon x and Dani, but MM either holds his specials until he has S3 or right before the timer expires and I can't get a special in with Dani. Am I doing something wrong? He just sits on his specials until he either has full 3 bars or until bleeds are done for weapon x. It's just getting increasing frustrating that the AI won't throw specials.

not much you can do if AI isn't cooperating.. I use Weapon-X and it was a long long long fight.. I just try and bait him to use sp1 and dex the attack, then counter.. let's say I wanted to rage quit a few times because of the AI.. but after many revives, got him down.. its better when Moleman gets as much monster mass and is in his monster mass.. so he doesn't shrug DOT..

Good luck OP.. I still have science utility (Spider-ham) and mystic (Kushala).. to do.. Spam is only rank1 so it's gonna be very annoying and long fight.

I did the mutant objective with a r2 6* Toad on my alt and got the solo, he is soooo good for him.
I hope he is the 7* we get in the Next saga 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Just have to be patient, it’s slow but managed to do it in 5 revives with weapon x. This could have been done with 1 revive since 4 of them were wasted by dying basically instantly so they barely counted as a run.

The fight isn’t hard, the damage reduction just means it’s long.

Did mystic with Kushala on two revives and mutant with toad on two revives … left with science objective … I would save more resources for that one … even tho it could be done without using revives … I just don’t have the patience for long fights so i would just chip em off

Or boost up a bit and use less resources

I got a solo with Dani spamming Sp1. At first I tried to time it and line up for maximum damage, but it messed up the rhythm of the fight. I just went at it focusing on my misses to get neuros and openings but just launching the special when I had it.

I'm guessing you are trying to be helpful saying a low rank 6* mutant can do the fight, but OP asked for help, yet never mentioned toad...

I ended up using sunspot helping my kid and used toad for mine....Iceman probably the best. I was also messing around with Prof X and he seemed to be working but all it takes is one non cooperative string and you have to restart....this fight was a nightmare outside of the pig

Thank you all I got through it with Weapon X it was a very slow fight like some said. Thank you all for the support!
