The true/false problem with the serpent
I see people on this forum saying that the main issue is the lack of counters in the game.
While that’s partly true, it indirectly supports the commercial direction the game is taking. The idea is to wait for the counters to be released, which would indirectly solve the problem.
But what some of the frustrated players feel today is too the helplessness brought by these new defenders. There’s no need for creativity, skill, or strategy anymore. Either you have the right counter and it’s an easy fight, or you don’t and it’s punitive (Hi bullseye 👋)
It is the game we want ? Use nodes to occasionally make things very challenging is a healthy compromise imo.
