Crucible Vision Aarkus

Help me out guys.
I was doing a Legendary run in Crucible. Everything was going fine until I got to Vision Aark
I thought Serpent would be a good counter.
He is immune to power lock and drain right?
I guess I was wrong.
I kept getting locked and drained.
Is this due to armor break? Does this decrease ability accuracy?
I may have not read the node correctly.

Unfortunately I had to quit so I wouldn't waste my units...
I had already burned through my available revives

I was not aware that Aarkus power drains.

Power lock shouldn't be happening because there is nothing to power lock.
But Serpent is not immune to power drain, he only reduces its efficacy. And Aarkus won't lower his AAR at all because he isn't a robot.

@Friendly001 He doesn't but on this particular node. If you power gain it reverses and drains your power

Did you read his kit? Immune to lock yes, but not to drain. He reduces the effects of power drain, but he is not immune to it.

Serpent is immune to power lock (which isn’t relevant for crucible Aarkus, not sure why you keep bringing it up). However he is NOT immune to power drain; he just has 60% resistance, so you’re still getting inflicted with a (weaker) power drain by the power reversal node.

Use absorbing man with a relic and just keep close to vision to get your morph charges up

Also serpent isn't immune to power drain and burn completely. Look, that's why he's balanaced
