Arcade Rank Up Gem - Best Champion Choice

Hey guys,
I have a 7 star arcade games rank up gem lying around in my stash. I'm not sure which champ is worth ranking up to rank 2. I'm thinking to rank up either gladiator / beta ray bill / spider-ham. I'm looking for a champ that does well in battleground and quests.

I'll greatly appreciate if you guys can please pitch in your opinions? Below are the viable 7 star rank 1 champs.

    Ham Is amazing. Bill is my second choice. All the rest are great but no where near as good as the other two

    I would also say Spider-Ham, mine is R3 sig20, probably he and Gamora are my favourite champs to play atm

    For defense Terrax would be an option if you had him awakened, also heard some good stuff about Prowler

    If you Crossbones is high sig he can be a beast too

    XBones can be a beast unawakened, and also at low to mid sig; don’t underestimate that angry little man.

    Spam, Bill, Crossbones as others have said. Spam is the best call IMHO.
