I’m midway through house of zemo which is my last ccp challenge and I need to finish in the next 6h before refills expire. Sadly my indecisive ahh brain can’t decide on who I want to take so imma just make a poll on it atp🤷.

Unless you’re banking on an AG anytime soon. I already made a whole post about this but if you’re comfortable with his play style he’s so versatile and he nukes most stuff sub 40 for me. Pretty much covers every meta threat other than Maestro and Serpent for obvious reasons

Hard to know when we’re gonna get ags 🤷. And yea that was a great post. I wish he had some better block proficiency bc I feel like if I block a hit accidentally I’m instantly cooked lol. Not that he needs to be made any stronger.

Starky is a big nuke. If your guardian is high sig take him up. Otherwise you're better with starky.

Starky is a big nuke. If your guardian is high sig take him up. Otherwise you're better with starky.

Oh wow. This was an r2 with no cides? Damn did he just kill in one sp2 lol. How important would you say the dupe is for him, I know starky needs it quite a bit.

Edit: nvm stats said there were 2 sp2s but 146k each is no joke.

Starky. Unlike Masacre who can be slowed by energy resistance, starky can’t be slowed by pretty much any node. If there’s energy resist just spam sp1s. Cant go wrong with either tho imo but starky is just insane

I think that only comes into play for metas like the current gc one tbh. As long as you’re not being punished for having the incinerates up you can afford to lose out on the damage from them since most of your damage is from the sp2

I do still agree that I think starky is more versatile tho

Yeah. Sparky can handle meta defenders like onslaught bullseye and photon, massacre isn't the best against these (maybe be works against photon)?

Masacre was a top 2 or 3 attacker last crit me because he’d crit through block and do a ton more damage than usual. This meta I agree tho he probably wouldn’t make the deck. I agree tho I never see Masacre anymore, but I don’t think it’s because he’s fallen off, I think it’s just due to so few people owning the 7*. I barely see starky and he most definitely hasn’t fallen off either.

Yea it would be quite handy right now to know how far out ags are. I have shocker as a tech who I also want to dupe so idek if I’d end up giving starky a tech gem if I got one.

I don’t remember Masacre being able to crit through block so if that’s true I guess that changes things. I just thought he got a massive attack boost. But I haven’t seen Masacre in anyone’s deck. I feel like I might be Sparky in about 4-5/10 decks. He’s definitely much more utilized.

I think you might be misremembering things; Masacre does not and never has been able to crit through block, even via synergies or the like. Not sure why he’d be particularly good in the crit me with your best shot meta besides very high base crit stats, which I’m not sure are enough alone to carry him in such a meta.

As someone who did pick double Masacre regardless, he’s plenty viable in bgs. You don’t have to get fancy with him at all with some complicated rotation, you just ignite his bat, inflict a few incinerates, and land a sp2 into block to delete opponents. For my r2 7* this is usually enough to kill an opponent in 30-40 seconds. He’s probably not better than Starky but if you just like Masacre more for whatever reason I wouldn’t say you’re shooting yourself in the foot so much as maybe stubbing your toe. Just pick whoever you’re more comfortable with.

Yea basically what clouddey said, you just have to be sure to land an intercept before the sp2 obviously.

I’m not sure why people don’t use him then. Even Lag who picked Masacre and Sparky has recently said he wishes he duped Sparky because he just never uses Masacre. I don’t know if influence from CCPs that tend to favor Sparky more or if he objectively really is the better champ, I just tend to see him more and hear more about him. If they ever end up making him available in some other way I’d definitely like to pick him up.

But if you continuously dex there is a chance you may get hit, can be avoided with enough practice though.
