You Hoarders do know that Kabam will auto open your old crystals, right?

It's even stated in the In-Game message, that all old crystals will be auto opened.
"In order to clean up Old data, the Game Team will be auto-opening a number of older Champion and Event crystals sometime after the Crystal Cleanse Realm Event"

That's not "all" old crystals. They've done crystal cleanups like that before and there is usually a list of everything they're opening. They're just giving it a secondary purpose this time around.

I rather have them open my crystals than to mindlessly tap tap tap "open 10 crystals" For 600+ times with 3 seconds delay/lag in between each time a tap registers. 🤷‍♂️

Yep, what @Furrymoosen said. If you've - for some darned reason - held onto that Very Super Unique Crystal that you got from a side quest back in 2017, chances are that it'll get auto-opened if you don't open it now.

If you're holding onto a newly-aquired Cosmic Nexus crystal while you wait for the Serpent on Beta Ray Bill to enter the basic pool, you're safe.

Kabam does these auto-openings every couple of years to get rid of the super old crystals that some people are holding on to. They don't care if you've got a ton of crystals in your inventory that they plan to keep in circulation, but they need to phase out certain older crystals in order to keep introducing new ones.

I still have crystals from the 1v1 arenas. It’s fun to see the old art and graphics. Probably why I have close to 35k crystals haha

There can. Do that without your knowledge there’s also in there right to do so

From my understanding, this is only crystals that are no longer in service things like old featured cavaliers and featured crystals from a few cycles ago. I do not believe they would ever auto open something like gold or crystal shards.
