Message notifications being locked

I have an Alt account that I don't log on to everyday, especially at the beginning of a month with new content launching, sometimes it can be a number of days, not logging on to it.

With recent updates something has happened with messages and the notification badges - this month, like usual, I didn't log on to my alt for quite a while but when I did there were 4 notifications of some (insignificant) war rewards but the rewards had expired and now I cant do anything with these messages. I can't delete them because they are rewards messages and delete is locked but the rewards are no longer claimable so the messages / notifications are pointless and useless.

I'm not asking for the rewards, just for the delete to be unlocked once the rewards expire.

Are they still in STASH - REWARDS ? (can claim them from there).

Typically Mail Msgs actually will self-delete much earlier than when the rewards would expire from being able to be claimed from stash.

So doesn’t make sense that can’t claim the reward, but the mail msg is still there.
