Homecoming free crystal challenge

I just popped 9 free crystals to complete my homecoming challenge and it only counted for one. I guess I assumed if I saved up and popped them all I could get the remaining 9 in one satisfying pop. But now I have to wait for another 8 free crystals.

    Yeah, I am not sure if it is intended or broken coding, but it only counts each time you open crystals, not each crystal you open. So if you hit "Open 9", it only counted as one. If you spin them individually they will count individually. It's not ideal.

    Is that in an OBJECTIVE, that has individual Levels to it, where each Level has to be reached AND claimed, before things starts to count towards the next Level ? (because, that is how Objectives, with Levels, works)

    If so, (last I heard someone say this was a while ago, but was about an Objective) then that is how it was designed.

    Unlike the SOLO EVENT for Crystal Openings, where you can pop as many at a single time (well, up to 10 anyways) and they all count towards Global Crystal Opening event (Solo points, and global points).

    It has progressive stages, but I believe one of the stages is opening 10 free crystals. I made a new account awhile back for when I was bored and ran into the same thing OP experienced.
