11 days. 500 million + crystals to open to reach final milestone. Is it possible to reach it? Yes. Is it likely... probably not. Only time will tell. But I have the image of All Might saying "Goodbye, Won For All".
If the milestone rewards weren’t saddled with so many profile pics, it would ALMOST be justifiable that this event is to help out some of the newer players. I get that kabam is testing the tech out on this realm stile event to make sure it works, but I highly doubt helping out the smaller accounts was actually in the agenda, but more of a psyop to get everyone to dump their crystals for data collection.

One last thought. I find the older players calling for help for new players funny. They come in here and beat down new players who dare post questions in the forums all the time. My feeling is, that sans gifting, they see this as a way to help their "alt" accounts. They see this as a way to gift some goodies to their smaller, newer accounts. I am not interested in using useful items to help "end game" players start over and improve their alt accounts. I got my own account to worry about managing..

I agree that at this point, the units are the top rewards. I would like the dust, but not the way it is so spread out with **** items around them. With 11 days left, the pace has slowed to where we are are still below the halfway mark so I'm fine with that. If the remaining rewards were better, it might be worth it to push on, but I don't feel they are.

No helping smaller accounts was not part of Kabams plan. This request is coming from myself and others in our community. We took it upon ourselves to try to help out.

I’m at 5k as of today. NO prior stash. 98% has been dailies, solos, and regular completion/ exploration/ objectives stuff, while STILL building some crystals back up for my next need (in this case, couple hundo 4hrs I wanted to save for my next content completion).
yes, the rewards ain’t great. I want to see how much I can pull MYSELF, how much WE can pull collectively, for my own curiosity. someone else (especially a newer/ less developed account) gets a leg up because of my efforts, more the better.

Brian Grant was given a special objective: if he opened the three egg crystals he's been collectively hoarding since the Big Bang, he would be temporarily awarded 500 million points, which would put the entire realm event over the top.
Which he eventually did.
And then promptly broke the servers when they tried to adjust for the rank rewards.
Eggactly as Brian had predicted: the egg broke the universe.
