More aq comp problems ?

I thought we were done with this, my brother somehow got the aq comp, he did not get a mail saying he got the comp ( he doesn’t have a overflow of mail going on ) he just looked at his stash is was there, his alliance WAS affected by the raid situation, as was mine, however NEITHER of us were affected by the raid situation because we weren’t in our alliances at the time, so he received it for not being affected and I did not receive it for not being affected ( mind you both of us knew we would not get it ) but now I’m a bit confused because should everyone have gotten comp ? Because I never received anything ( I thought I wouldn’t because I wasn’t affected ) so never thought to care, now I think I’m missing it.
