Lol I forgot about this.. Is there not a node or something that counters the miss he gets? or is it really just a matter of you can't punish the specials..

That's the neat part.... You can't.

You need to get the vigilance, but to get the vigilance you need to complete raid mission, which here is punishing specials, which you can't do cuz he'll miss it 😂.

In all seriousness, punish his heavy twice to get vigilance, then you can start your rotation.

if he throws it..... but holding block on LAST boss on the map is very painful......

Well he is low health, tried it but needed 4x punish heavy before i gain 1 role charge =vigilance...... this is gonna be worse than MODOK ...... but i live i guess.

Well, on lane 456 (middle)
Hood was normal and easy to deal with

That is good to hear, I am currently middle so knowing at least one boss will be fine to deal with is nice.

For Invisible Woman, the Shield is a bad design.
if you hit her during phase and miss, she add +10 per hit and going 120 or 130 charge and takes forever to reduce the Shield (about 2k damage per 1 shield down)
and you can only do damage after the shield is down but the timer is very short
some champions are good, those with bleed and DOT (i believe)

For Prowler, only lane 456 is bad design due to the node which only gives you charges when you hit/punish after heavy/SP (which is impossible) but like what i did, you can bait 4x heavy and then with vigilance, hit him/punish during specials.

Haven't reach Prof X (still mulling over Prowler) but some alliances have finished.

456 is middle path right? If so that is just awful to hear especially with prowler, not only we have invisible woman first we then have to deal with the nodes on prowler?? (ok so it isn't as bad as it seems) just 2 heavies and you're set.

yes, 456 is middle island

For Susan, try not hit (+miss) when she is phased, and once you can get max role charges, spam everything to prolong the fight to break the shield.

Karatemike said on the forums you punish his heavy a few times for the Vigilance buff then you can play like normal punishing specials.

Yeah this is terrible design. They had to know it would be nearly impossible for middle lane players. It amazes me they either overlooked this or just didn’t care. Putting prowler in a mode where you are forced to punish specials but literally can’t is just to punitive. I guess you “can” punish 4 heavies but that is a big ask for a lot of players and needs the AI to cooperate. Just another miss by Kabam.

gotta look at your raid buff also

example you use Nick Fury with Dot Boost

you can punish all the heavies and SP since you can't miss
But Prowler is bleed immune so he's not getting any debuff = you not getting any charges

so you need to intercept to get debilitate debuff on prowler, then intercept his heavy and SP

It isn't ideal. He's bad for two of the node setups. Hard to knock down because you have to reparry, heavy counter or potentially waste specials before you can really deal damage.
Or you can have the option of punish specials or heavies and take a ton of chip damage punishing heavies before you can actually punish specials. Not ideal.

I dunno… I’ve always viewed Raids as a deeply flawed mode that succeeds more due to its high reward payout and the fact that it’s a reprieve from the more deeply flawed AQ game mode

I was nearing the point of not bothering with Raids before these changes, the rewards aren't with the tokens imo. If these fights stay the same this will be my last raid week.

I know this will only help Vanguards, but Ironheart is a cheat code. She bypasses miss and falter with only 5 debuffs (which are stupid easy to place), and is a monster. My 7R3 was doing almost max damage without any charges at all.
