Claiming rewards crashes game with error message

I tried claiming an expired combat event reward of gold and solo crystals shards twice and both times I got an error message and the game crashed.

The same is occurring for me. This is has been happening all week (10/8 - 10/12). The rewards can be claimed via access in the rewards tab of stash. Has Kabam recognized the issue and is this tied to the last “Hotfix”?
