I never really understood masteries much so I did the bare minimum long ago and haven’t bothered since . Would you say they are very bad ? Do they cause major flaws in my gameplay ? Or are they sort of acceptable

• Lesser cruelty/precision aren’t worth jack, you should only have one point in each purely so you can invest in the higher-tier cruelty/precision. I’m also not sold on any more than one point in pierce being worth much.
• The energy resistance mastery is also not doing enough for you. Take that off.
• Points in strength and vitality is laughable, especially when you could at minimum invest them in greater strength/vitality (you shouldn’t invest much in those either, but it’d at least be an objective improvement).
• Mutant class mastery isn’t doing anything. Bleeds lasting half a second less is not enough to be worth anything, not to mention it hurts some mutants like OR.
As for what to do with those points, willpower and despair should be automatic inclusions in most setups, as should mystic dispersion. Recovery, deep wounds, inequity, and collar tech are less important but definitely worth consideration as well. Recoil tree is up to you whether it’s worth anything, there’s a lot of tradeoffs involved.
TLDR yes that setup is really bad, and paying up the units to redo it would massively pay itself off in terms of making content easier. Look up some more comprehensive guides to help make decisions, this is just a basic rundown.
start here after @SummonerNR 's link
there's a series of mastery setups for different game modes
. I always avoided mastery guides cause honestly it bores me to death but I guess I should make the time

That's what’s in those links above. Ready made mastery setups you can copy/paste and use.
